Layout Protection

My journey began in 1984, when I was hanging out with a small local band called Mötley Crüe. I spent time around the roadies, watching how everything worked behind the scenes. That experience sparked something in me. I knew that was what I wanted to do.

Before I knew it, I was on the road, touring with bands and traveling around the world at a young age. I built my career as a guitar tech, working with an incredible lineup of musicians and bands, including MC5, Wayne Kramer, Slash, Kim Thayil/Soundgarden, Billy Gould of Faith No More, Mike Watt of The Stooges, The OG Ramones players, Armored Saint, Metal Church,Dokken Tom Morello of Rage Against the Machine, Lemmy, STP members, along with many, many,MANY more!

After years of touring, traveling, and working in the music industry, I took my experience behind the scenes and moved into a new field. In 2000, I landed my first location layout job, and in 2001, I started my own company.

Today, my company is built around one simple mission: make life easier for location managers.

I understand that location managers have a lot on their plates. My goal is to take the stress and worry out of the layout process, handle the details, and make sure everything is organized and ready to go. That way, location managers can focus on the many other responsibilities that come with their jobs.

From touring the world with legendary musicians to building my own layout company, my career has always been about teamwork, problem-solving, and making things happen behind the scenes.

I know what it takes to make a production work. My job is to make sure the location is one less thing you have to worry about.

NOW TO THE NAME OF MY COMPANY "LAY IT DOWN"

AFTER WORKING AND TOURING WITH ONE OF MY  FAVORITE BANDS IN THE WORLD "RATT" AND MY FAVORITE SONG IS "LAY IT DOWN" I DECIDED THAT WAS THE MOST FITTING NAME FOR MY LAYOUT COMPANY "LAY IT DOWN" BECAUSE THATS IS WHAT WE DO.....
